Item 85517 is a 1:50 Cat D11T Track-Type Tractor model with a special finish that is copper plated, then rubbed to create richness, interest and depth. Diecast Masters calls this a Commemorative model because they saw its application being for special presentation purposes, in addition to general collecting. To that end, the model is presented in a special, flip-top display package with a mirrored base. Set into the base is a metal plate engraved simply "Cat D11T Track-Type Tractor" on its upper surface; however, this plate is also removable and reversible, allowing customers to engrave their own custom message on the other side. They might, for example, engrave "Thanks, Bob Smith, for Your Service" and present the model to "Bob Smith" upon his retirement. The model features metal moveable tracks, adjustable blade and ripper and detailed cab. Dimensions are 23.25cm x 12.70cm x 9.53cm.
